A Simple Man

He was a charming, handsome, blue-eyed, good-ol’-boy from a small town in North Carolina. His free-spirited, restless soul longed for a fulfilling and exciting life. At the age of 23, the young man enlisted into the United States Air Force.

After graduating from high school, she had no desire to remain in her rural, Arkansas town. Her blue eyes and adventurous spirit wanted to travel and see the world. At the age of 18, she enlisted into the United States Air Force.

While stationed at the same base, their paths collided. As they locked eyes, she was instantly hypnotized and fell in love with him. Two years later, the Air Force sent them to opposite sides of the world. Over the next eight years, they kept in touch and managed to see each other on several occasions. Eventually, they lost contact, but she never forgot her first love. Twenty-eight years later, fate came calling, and they cast their blue eyes upon each other again. Will they rekindle their long ago, passionate, love affair? Will she finally live a fairy tale, happily-ever-after life with her first love, or will she have to say good bye to him again?
