Illusions: Two Novellas

These stories are not exactly true, but the characters are drawn from real people. The author designs characters primarily from their dialogue, and the characters in these stories sound like the people he has known. The second story is based loosely on the author’s experiences in a halfway house and the first story is based on his return home. They can be read in any order.
